Your Photos, on Glossy Acrylic

Acrylic Photo Prints with a Smooth, Glossy Finish

Create personalised acrylic wall art from a family photograph, wedding image, travel scene or your own artwork. Choose the size and hanging method, then click Upload Photos & Design on the product page to edit the image, add text and preview your design before ordering.

Know the Surface and the Display You Are Choosing

Acrylic photo prints place your image on a rigid acrylic panel with a glossy appearance. The smooth face gives the photo a different surface character from woven canvas.

Acrylic glass means acrylic

“Acrylic glass” is another name for clear acrylic plastic, rather than traditional glass. This collection is for printed acrylic panels. A glass-like appearance does not make the material an actual glass sheet.

Consider the light in the room

A glossy surface can reflect bright windows and lamps. Look at the intended wall from your normal viewing position and consider where reflections may fall, especially on dark photographs.

Plan how it will be displayed

Choose the hanging method along with the size. A wall panel with no hanging system is not the same product as a thick, freestanding acrylic photo block.

Compare the Acrylic Print Hanging Options

The current product offers Metal Bracket, Silver Bolts and No Hanging System. Choose the appearance you want, then plan suitable fixings for your wall.

Metal Bracket

Acrylic print with a rear metal bracket and keyhole-style hanger, leaving the front free of corner bolts

A rear support and keyhole-style hanger keep the fixing detail behind the print. Choose this presentation when you prefer an unobstructed front image.

Silver Bolts

Acrylic print with visible silver bolt caps at four corners and cylindrical wall standoffs

Visible silver caps at the four corners become part of the display. The product image shows a stand-off arrangement that separates the panel from the wall.

No Hanging System: choose this when you intend to arrange your own compatible display method. Before installation, confirm the fixing arrangement, wall clearance and any hardware you need. Ask us about mounting details if you are fitting an existing position or need a specific hole layout.

Choose the Shape, Then Check the Finished Dimensions

Measure the proposed display area and mark out the full width and height. Pick a shape close to your original image to reduce unnecessary cropping.

Compare the width and height of the original photo, not only the available wall length.

The size names list the shorter side first where applicable. Select Portrait or Landscape for the intended direction, then check the preview. Square dimensions are the same in either direction. See the Acrylic Prints product for the current NZD price.

Prepare Your Image and Preview the Print

Open your chosen product, select the size and hanging method, then click Upload Photos & Design. Position the photo, add personal text and review the composition before adding it to your cart.

Check the photograph and text

Use the original file from your camera or phone where possible. Enlarge faces and fine details to check the source image, and keep names or messages clear of the outer edges and any visible corner fixings.

The preview helps you check the layout. Printed colour can differ from a backlit screen, and a clear small preview does not by itself prove the detail of a large print.

Tell us if you need clear areas

A full-colour photo and a logo surrounded by clear acrylic can require different print and backing arrangements. A transparent PNG alone does not confirm how the finished panel should look.

For clear backgrounds, white areas, cut-out artwork or a particular view from the back, send us your file and the effect you want before ordering.

Colour effect or physical finish? The available image colour effects change the treatment of the picture. For example, a Soft Matte colour effect is not an option for a matte acrylic surface. The acrylic photo-print finish described here is glossy.

Acrylic or Canvas: Compare the Surface Character

Choose the material for the way you want the image to sit in the room. Neither surface can replace detail that is missing from the original file.

Two different ways to display your photograph
Finish What you see What to consider
Acrylic print A smooth, glossy image on a rigid panel. Reflections, panel edges and the chosen hanging system are part of the display.
Stretched canvas A photograph on textured canvas stretched over an inner frame. The woven surface and wrapped sides give a different, dimensional canvas appearance.

If you prefer the texture of canvas, explore canvas prints. For acrylic, choose the hanging presentation and room position together with the photo.

Acrylic Prints FAQ

Answers about acrylic material, finish, clear areas, display and care.

Are acrylic glass prints made from actual glass?

No. Acrylic glass refers to acrylic plastic. These are acrylic panel prints, rather than prints on traditional glass. The glossy surface creates a glass-like presentation.

Will the background be transparent?

That depends on the print and backing arrangement. If clear areas or a particular rear appearance matter, confirm the artwork and finish with us before ordering. Do not rely only on transparency in the uploaded file.

Is a Soft Matte colour effect a matte acrylic finish?

No. It is an image colour effect. It changes the look of the picture, not the physical surface of the acrylic. The product’s stated surface finish is glossy.

Is No Hanging System a freestanding photo block?

No. It means you are choosing the panel without the offered hanging system. A thick acrylic block for a desk or shelf is a different display format; contact us if that is what you need.

Can I use the print outdoors or in a bathroom?

Please tell us the intended location before ordering. Suitability depends on the complete printed product, backing and mounting arrangement, not only the acrylic sheet. We can review the application with you.

How should I clean the acrylic surface?

Use a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water. Avoid abrasive rubbing, soaking the print or household glass cleaners. Ask us before applying any cleaner to printed areas or the back.

Do you deliver acrylic prints throughout New Zealand?

Yes. New Zealand delivery is NZ$9.95 per order. Timing depends on the product, size and destination. Contact us before ordering for a specific event date or if you need help with a larger print.
